Izakaya Night Vol. 10 – A One-Night Collaboration with Nanbu Bijin × Chef Hiroki Odo

— A One-Night-Only Curated Sake & Food Experience —

Join us for an exclusive evening celebrating the art of Japanese sake.

Dear Valued Guests,

For one night each month, THE GALLERY by Odo invites a distinguished Kuramoto (Sake Brewer) from Japan to showcase a selection of their finest and rarest brews.
For this edition of Izakaya Night, we are honored to welcome President Kosuke Kuji from Nanbu Bijin. To complement these exceptional sakes, Chef Hiroki Odo has crafted a special, limited-edition menu designed specifically to enhance the unique flavor profiles of the night’s featured selection.  This is a rare opportunity to discover high-quality sakes—many of which are not yet widely available in the U.S.—and to hear the stories behind them directly from the brewers.

Brewery Profile

Nanbu Bijin:  Founded in 1902 in Ninohe City, Iwate Prefecture, in the historic Nanbu region. The name, coined in 1951, reflects a vision of sake with the purity and beauty of a "beautiful maiden." Brewing water drawn from the Oritsume Basenkyo gorge, a mineral-rich medium-hard spring yields sake with robust flavor and a full, rounded body.

A Rare Opportunity
President Kosuke Kuji — the fifth-generation steward of Nanbu Bijin and one of the sake world's most passionate global ambassadors — will be joining us in person for this special evening. A rare chance to hear directly from the man behind the brewery, share a glass, and experience the story of Southern Beauty firsthand.
